Chinese New Year and A Trip Down Memory Lane...
Behind again. I am just now posting from my January 2016 trip. I cancelled my December trip when mom became extremely sick. This was originally going to be a trip for both of us that we booked back in July, and then she wanted me to go by myself, and then...well, she got extremely ill, and I cancelled the trip altogether. The night we were originally supposed to leave in December was the night she went into the hospital for the last time.
I took this trip in January to get out and try to do something for me. In the end, I did a lot of things for my mom for the last time: I gambled at some of her favorite machines, visited some of her favorite casinos, and ate at some of her favorite restaurants.
I love you and miss you, mama. You will always be in my heart and on my mind.
Here is my trip report in photos.

Me and Evoni Diana. It was so dark in the lounge that the flash was overwhelming. It was good to see her again. |

I prefer Conservatory photos at night - the colors are richer.

Thank you for your report. I'm sorry to hear about your Mom. You have great memories of her during your trips to Vegas. My mom also loved Vegas and Atlantic City. I never visit those places without thoughts of her and memories we shared.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that the truth? Our mothers are always with us, everywhere we go. I miss her so much.
DeleteGreat report with pictures Diane and a great tribute to your Mom. Thanks for posting on your blog. Dmjewel
ReplyDeleteThank you, sir! I haven't been going as often as I used to, so I try to make it count.
